A Little About Plumarius 🤍
Hello, and welcome to Plumarius Custom Threads!
I'm the mum and the person behind the embroidery, and I wanted to share a little bit about why I started this small business.
I've worked as a mental health nurse since 2018, and both my career and my own journey into motherhood have shaped the way I see the importance of mental wellbeing, identity and personal growth.
Becoming a mum has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, but it's also made me realise just how much we change and grow along the way.
Sometimes, amongst looking after everyone else, it's easy to forget about the person we are outside of motherhood.
And that's part of what inspired Plumarius.
I wanted to create clothing that felt comfortable, understated and meaningful. Pieces that you could wear every day, but that carried a little reminder just for you.
Whether it's Raising & Rising, Softly Resilient or Breaking Cycles, each design has a meaning behind it, inspired by the different experiences, challenges and moments of growth we go through.
Every piece is embroidered by me, with care and attention to detail. I also offer complimentary personalised sleeve embroidery, because sometimes the smallest details hold the biggest meaning.
But my hope for Plumarius goes beyond clothing.
I'd love to build a little community where mums feel seen, supported and reminded that their own growth matters too.
I'm still learning, growing and figuring things out myself, both as a mum and as a small business owner. And I'm so grateful to everyone who chooses to be part of this journey.
